DO I NEED A VET REFERRAL BEFORE  I CAN BOOK A MASSAGE?

Veterinary referral is preferred,(but not required) if your dog has had any injuries, surgery, medications or other vet diagnosed conditions. A referral helps us determine the best form of treatment and rehabilitation based on your vets information. We can email you a Vet Referral form. You can send the form to your vet or take it into their clinic. We are happy to talk to your vet if required.

WHAT IS THE INITIAL ASSESSMENT FOR?

We will ask some questions in regards to your dogs current situation and history. If you have a vet referral (recommended) we will also assess the best form of treatment for your pet. We will also assess your dogs gait and posture during your visit. Massage will be included in this session.

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TO BRING MY DOG BACK FOR  TREATMENT?

We will assess your dogs current and past history, gait and posture and plan a treatment based on the above or from veterinary referral. Once massage treatment has been applied we may recommend another treatment depending on your dogs situation. Normally we would like to call or email you several days after to see how your pet responded after treatment.
